The Seattle Jewish Community Calendar
Community Usage Policies
Eligibility Statement:
Organizations are welcome to post events that benefit the Jewish community. All community calendar postings should offer quality religious, educational, cultural and/or community service activities and benefit the Jewish community of Greater Seattle. Postings may not be in conflict with the mission of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, "to ensure a vibrant Jewish community that is connected locally, in Israel and worldwide".
Disclaimer:
We reserve the right to modify the information submitted for any event. Event listings are posted at the discretion of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.
Holding Dates:
Dates may be held under the category listing "Tentative Event Date". Out of respect for the numerous organizations in Greater Seattle, the number of held dates should be kept to a minimum - 6 or fewer, if possible. Please release held dates once the final event date is set.
Date Conflicts:
Due to the rich, diverse Jewish community in the Seattle area, multiple events may invariably be scheduled on the same day. If an event being submitted to the calendar is in direct conflict with a previously scheduled event, the organizations should communicate with one another to resolve potential conflicts. Each event requires a contact person to be listed, which ensures easy communication for resolution of scheduling conflicts.
In keeping with the Jewish Federation's agreement, agencies that receive community campaign allocations are expected to refrain from scheduling fundraising events during the five days before and after key Jewish Federation fundraising events: the Community Dinner, the Lion of Judah event and Connections.
