The Seattle Jewish Chorale, is a community-wide performance choir dedicated to: performing works that reflect the wide spectrum of Jewish experiences and choral traditions; playing an educational role in bringing the richness and diversity of Jewish song to its members and the public; and promoting Jewish values and building bridges to understanding and respect using the universal language of music.
Seattle Jewish Chorale's repertoire includes songs in Hebrew, English, Yiddish and Ladino, and incorporates a wide variety of styles and genres within the Jewish choral tradition: sacred and secular; a cappella and accompanied; classical, jazz, folk, and pop.
The SJC is a volunteer, not-for-profit choir, with members who come from all over the Greater Seattle area, with varied backgrounds and affiliations.
For information about upcoming performances, auditions, or how to make a tax-deductible donation to the Chorale, visit our Facebook page or email jewishchorale@live.com.
Seattle Jewish Chorale is a Partner Artist of Shunpike, a 501c3 arts service organization that helps small and mid-sized arts organizations with the business of art.
